I started student teaching today....
oh man...
Okay, so I've been under some major anxiety over this... and this coming from someone who doesn't stress excessively about things and likes to take life as it comes with the belief that things typically work out.
I've been freaking out about this.
It didn't help that I didn't know anything besides the school I'd be at and the teacher's name I'd be working with until yesterday.
But, even though I've practically made myself sick over this, and even though I'm in charge of two remedial geometry classes and one AP Calculus class, maybe I'll survive.
We'll see...
Right now I feel like I've just dived in head first, and am still working on resurfacing.
If "dived" isn't the right word to have used in that sentence, you'll understand why I'm teaching math.

ReplyDeleteYou're one tough cookie, so you will have no problem handling any problem kids that might surface. You're also brilliant, so the actual teaching will be cake.
