Provo River Falls excursion

On Saturday we went on an impromptu excursion to Provo River Falls with a guy in our ward.

I wasn't totally aware that this would be an all day adventure taking us 4 counties away, but it was fun.

Here are a few pictures from the trip.

PS, it was kind of hard to get good pictures with it being SO BRIGHT outside and not being able to see my little screen to see what kinds of pictures I was taking on any given setting. Sheesh. 

For a while I had a shade thing on my lens... I didn't realize it was "framing" every picture. =P Oh well. 

I LOVE the green moss/lichen/whatever on all the rocks! It was so bright and vivid.

I think he's pretty darn cute. 

The rocks were so cool. 

Bryan said when he was little his dad would always get after him for getting as close as he POSSIBLY could without falling in a given body of water. Still holds true. (Don't worry, the water was not deep.)

This is at the summit of whatever mountain we were on over in Duchesne county. It was 10,000+ feet high. I could feel it!
