Half Marathon Anybody?

Okay, so my "fitness" goal for 2010 is to run a half marathon.

Aah! A half marathon you say?

Yup, that's what I say.

I used to not be a huge fan of running... it's not the easiest thing in the world. But last year I really started appreciating it as a way to de-stress after a long day or something. Even though during a run can feel rather torturous, how you feel after a few hours of finishing is incredible. So, I took up running.

Now, by no means do I consider myself a runner. My goal for last year was to run a 5k. I didn't run an official one, like with a number on my back or something, but I ran one on my own.

My goal for this year is to run a half marathon (in distance) by the time 2010 is over.

I think I can do it. :) We'll see.

I'm going to report my status on here because it's easier to accomplish goals when you hold yourself accountable.  I'm not even sure if anybody reads this, but I'll pretend I have to report my progress to lots of readers. That'll help me. :)

The only problem right now is that I've been having problems with my left foot since about August. I'm not sure why. If it doesn't get better I'm going to have to get it looked it I suppose.

That sort of puts a damper on things.

Good thing I've got a year.

We'll see how it goes! :)
