Vacation: Day 1

Okay, so day one of our trip was really last Friday, but all we did was drive from Provo to Walla Walla, WA. (About 11 hours of driving if I remember right.)

So, we're counting Saturday as day one for blog/picture purposes.

Okay, so our first stop was up in the very north part of Washington. We went to a baptism. The companion Bryan had very last (Elder Hughes) -- who is also the last missionary in the mission Bryan had as his companion -- had a family baptism in a town that hasn't baptized a family in the history of their area book. It was great!

After the baptism we took him and his comp out to dinner. It was great!

Afterwards, we went to Canada to see the temple Vancouver, BC. Neither Bryan nor I have ever been to Canada. Actually, we'd never left the United States. So, it was our first time! It was weird...lol.

There was a little pavilion behind the temple with some restrooms in it. Bryan had to go, but the men's was locked...who knows why. So, he used the women's room. Ha ha ha.

Okay, so bear with me... I was practicing my lovely photography skills at the temple. The result? 900 pictures. And you get to see them all! Ha ha. Just kidding. I used the tripod on any that have us in it... you probably could have figured that out. It was really pretty though.

So great... :)
We headed back to the U S of A and drove down the coast until we got to North Seattle where we stayed the night.

Unfortunately, the blackberries are still very green.
