This is what happens when...
...you've made your husband eat leftovers for lunch (and dinner) for the past two or three days and you have a lot of empty tupperware-like containers that are "top rack only" in the dishwasher and you have no desire to try to scrub the leftovers smell out of them by hand so they build up in the sink...
...and post food poisoning you've developed some sort of lactose intolerance and accidentally let your milk go bad but suddenly need the fridge space...
...because you got home late Friday night with a trunk full of groceries...that need to go in the fridge...
...and so you are finally forced to clean out all the random little things that get shoved into the back and forgotten (a plug for fridge on top, freezer on bottom, which ours is not)...
...which is not only just about the space but about the fact that you really would like to be able to use some tupperwares of various smaller sizes again, not just the giant (clean) ones left in the cupboard...
...and you're so tired so you just dump all the empty and not-so-empty containers into the sink to be taken care of tomorrow...
...even though you know that's kinda nasty...
...and you end up with a picture because it's strange that a tornado and earthquake could have hit the kitchen and left the rest of the house alone.

ReplyDeleteThat's what ours looks like every week until Saturday when we decide we should probably clean them! (Or after being embarrassed when our landlords come down and see the mess...)
