Sorry I've been MIA.
I figured I'd do a quick update even though I don't have any sweet pictures to show you yet.
I'll see if I can paint you a picture.

I'm wearing a lime green cast that goes from my toes to mid calf.
I walk like my left leg is two inches longer than my right...
...because it is.
I finally got a handicap parking pass so I don't have to walk .75 miles from the parking lot to my building at school.
...and I've spent a lot of time laying on the couch with my foot propped up watching Duck Dynasty going in and out of sleep.
...
Can you picture it?
Lol.
My foot is doing really well and healing fast.
Unfortunately, the dumb pills I've been having to take have been kicking my TRASH!
The pain pills basically stopped the peristalsis in my intestines and colon....meaning nothing has been moving along no matter WHAT I do.
It made me really sick actually.... had to take care of that yesterday... sorry if TMI....but that's the truth.
I haven't taken any pain pills since then. I'd rather deal than be sick.
....
The antibiotics have made me SO nauseous, and the anti-nausea pills he gave me knock me out almost instantly...
...aaaand since it's finals week I can't be asleep always...
...so I deal.
(I called the doctor tonight and he said since I never got any sort of infection I can stop taking them... so hopefully in the next 12 hours or so I'll stop feeling so dang pukey.
.....
But, I have awesome family and friends and a Relief society president who have taken great care of me. (Especially mom and Bryan. Thanks guys!)
And here's to hoping I'll be able to finish finals and do better than I did on the paper that I wrote while in a drug-induced stupor.
Oh I hope you are feeling better, medicine is wonderful but those side affects sound crappy! Keep enjoying duck dynasty, it's the best! Get well soon, I am sure you did great on your finals! :)
