You Be Sweet- Cook Book Review

You Be Sweet- Sharing Your Heart One Down-Home Dessert at a Time

This was a really fun cookbook to sit down and read (which is sort of rare)! It's a compilation of stories from Southern women where cooking and stories are so connected that it just makes sense to put them together into one book. The stories are sweet and so are the recipes. Don't use this book if you're not willing to cook with a few sticks of butter and some sugar. :)

As far as the recipes go, there are some recipes that I think are truly "southern" and I'm very excited to try. There are others in there that seem pretty generic and I don't know that I'm as excited to try them as others. I was pretty disappointed though that only some of the recipes had pictures. I'm definitely not as excited to try a recipe when I don't know what it will look like. Other than that it was a pretty good cookbook.
